Ho cominciato a fotografare quasi quarant'anni fa, con il medio formato e lunghe ore in camera oscura. Quel tempo mi ha insegnato la pazienza, la composizione e il peso dell'attesa. Il bianco e nero rimane il mio linguaggio principale. Il mio lavoro si muove attraverso il paesaggio, l'architettura e la fotografia di strada, intesi come luoghi di memoria, passaggio e indagine della realtà. Lavoro in Toscana e viaggio. La fotografia, per me, è un dialogo tra ciò che vediamo e ciò che resta. Progetti recenti: Da Ovest a Ovest, Portogallo 1995–1999, The Ring of Berlin, Alone. ________________________________________________________ I began photographing almost forty years ago, with medium format film and long hours in the darkroom. That time taught me patience, composition, and the weight of waiting. Black and white remains my primary language. My work moves through landscape, architecture, and street photography — understood as places of memory, passage, and inquiry into reality. I work in Tuscany and travel. Photography, for me, is a dialogue between what we see and what remains. Recent projects: Da Ovest a Ovest, Portugal 1995–1999, The Ring of Berlin, Alone.
